Synthetic analog of human GHRH(1-29) bearing four substitutions (D-Ala2, Gln8, Ala15, Leu27) and a C-terminal amide — the CJC-1295 peptide backbone without the maleimidopropionyl-Lys30 drug-affinity complex. Note: residue 2 is D-alanine, which the one-letter sequence cannot express.

Room temperature
Lyophilized powder tolerates short ambient excursions in transit, but the peptide is hygroscopic and prolonged ambient storage promotes moisture uptake and aggregation. In solution at room temperature it degrades by hydrolysis within days and should not be held beyond 24 hours.
